At Studio Batik Batik, every piece tells a story. We work directly with local tailors and family businesses in Java and Bali to create real Batik products with purpose.
By choosing our designs, you celebrate Indonesian heritage, empower local makers, and help keep Batik alive, in a modern, conscious way.

We collaborate with an amazing family-run Batik workshop in Yogyakarta. Using traditional techniques like Batik Tulis, Batik Cap, and Kombinasi, they handcraft each kain with skill, patience and pride. Their knowledge and artistry are at the heart of our work.

Our products are handcrafted in Bali by the best tailor team we could ask for: a small family business we're super proud to work with. We love working with them, not just because they’re super talented, but also because it’s also just fun to hang out. We visit them often (and not just for fittings, also for es teh, chats, and many snacks), and every piece we make together reflects that joy, that connection, and that shared goal to grow together. We lift each other up, and that makes every bag extra special

We work with authentic, handcrafted Batik, made in Indonesia using traditional techniques like Batik Tulis (hand-drawn), Batik Cap (stamped), and Kombinasi (a mix of both). These methods take time, skill, and patience, and you can see it in every piece.
